Recap
In this particular project, we delved into the audio world by synching our voices and interesting sound effects thus applying edits to follow the movie or character's perspective.

1. Watch the video on Premiere Pro Timeline
2. List down each scene on spreadsheet
3. List out each sound effects for each scene
4.Record dialogue with phone, search sound effects through online.
5. Download this google drive:

Audio Breakdown
Through this small exercise, we were formed into groups to complete the sheet together that includes breaking down the timeline with dialogues, listing down the ambience and sound effects for each scene in the video clip.

To gather the sound effects, I used these two online websites:

The link to the completed sheet of Audio Breakdown is below:

Based on my chosen planning and audios, I attempted to create another spreadsheet based on my edits.

After I have worked on the breakdown, I initiated with the dubbing by recording and implementing my own voice into the software. Due to having three characters, I separated them into the first three tracks.

Before I made further changes to the pitch, I browsed through the essential sound window and used the enhanced feature to my speech for further clarity.

Fig 1.8 Female Pitch 2 (Office Lady), Week 4

Once I have done that, I proceeded to adjusting the pitch by adding pitch shifter from the effects window. Each characters have different pitch in their voices so I set up different settings by making the male voice deeper and the females more towards mid tones and slight high tones.

SFX Edit Process

After that, I synched the sound effects in between the tracks while I placed the ambience at the final track. Throughout the editing process, I made adjustments to the volume and used transitions for certain places for smoother audio.

Somehow, there are quite a few SFX that did not match the speed of the video. I had to make adjustments towards the speed / duration feature. For example, I reduced the percentage of the duration to match the movement of the office lady. To ensure that this feature work, just click on a specific audio and right click it.

Sound Shaping Process:
In this project, we referred to the slides and tutorials for some guidance on the specific requirements. There were a lot of tools to play with and adjustments that could achieve different sound effects. These are the settings that I had adjusted during the process for each scenario.
