Recap:
In week 5, a briefing was given about the production shoot that we would be doing in week 6. Our lecturer explained about the scenes with the original clips of the movie. We were given a storyboard as guidance to enact the scenes that has been provided.

1. Pre Production Phase

Assigning Groups

Before we begin, a list of groups have been organized to carry out the shooting practice based on a movie called "Everything, Everywhere, All At Once". We were informed to distribute ourselves with different tasks by depending on our preferences. For this task, I decided to choose a camera director.

Shooting Schedule

In addition, we prepared a shooting schedule by appointing the time and location for the shooting practice. This helped us to direct our way much easier so that nothing went in shambles.

2. Production Phase

Shooting

During the production phase, we gathered and started our own production shoot in the studio by using the provided cameras. We relied on the materials that had been prepared. At the same time, our lecturer taught us how to utilize the equipment such as sound recording and lighting. Most importantly, I had learned some useful techniques on how to fix and create necessary adjustments to the camera.

After the shooting, we gathered all the clips and sounds that had been recorded and placed it into the drive. These are the folders consist of the footage that had been collected throughout the shoot.

Editing

Once we have finished the shooting, we moved to the final phase of the project which is editing. We were instructed to edit our own shooting practice into a video based on our creativity. Before that, I created a different file with the appropriate clips and audios that can be used in the video.

Initially, I transferred the clips into the software and synched the audios together with the clips.

With the same technique, I enhanced the audios to make it sound more cinematic and cleared.

Based on the practical exercises, I used the color correction technique and applied it to enhance the looks and the colors. After that, I proceeded with the color gradings by matching the moods of the clips to make it interesting by using adjustment layer.

In certain clips, I felt something was missing in the audio section. For example, I added some camera shutters SFX at this particular scene when the lights were flashing.

Lastly, I added a short introduction by using a template in the essential graphics before the video started. For certain people, they might misheard the pronunciation of the characters so I added some captions and adjusted the text by following their lines of the actors.
